Best deal out there, if you want to go thru an FFL for purchase, is the Brownells BRN22. They have a railed option, as well as a Takedown version. The standard versions are quite popular, and are out of stock at the moment... However, it appears that you can order it as a "barreled receiver"... This is a good deal too.

Thanks for the info, but I'm just looking for a plain jane used receiver. I have rail, barrel, and stock left over from other projects.

I do not want to sound argumentative with this post, however, I do believe that this as "plain jane" as it gets.. MSRP $79.99 on sale for $62.99 (out of stock, but can be back-ordered) Any other choice is at least triple this price... Most used OE receivers are also at least twice this price as well.

Unfortunately I only have a stripped stainless takedown receiver (from a factory rifle so can’t configure as a pistol). You can check out sapoutfitters.com for Ruger OEM receivers.

I appreciate all the input about online resources, but by the time you add shipping, transfer fee, and tax receivers are priced out of value I place on one.
That's why I am running this ad, to avoid the extra costs.
