A truly magnificent shotgun/custom case combo ! The shotgun is a CSMC (Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Co ) Pigeon grade model SxS .410 skeet with their highest grade American black Walnut wood. About $26k today new.
Marvin Huey is a custon gun case maker in Lawrence, Kansas who custom built this case for this gun 20 years ago for approximately $4k. The covering is Cape Buffalo. Tools are brass and ebony. There is currently a 1 year backlog to order a case from him.
This is a "legacy" set ,which ideally would be handed down from father to son for generations to come. I'm offering it here for sale with the full understanding that this is a very limited market for this set. So if you are not interested, but might know who is, I will pay a $500 finders fee upon completion of a sale!
