This is a Browning Superposed Broadway Trap shotgun, made in Belgium. From 1977 to 1985, Browning manufactured a limited number of presentation grade superposed models in grades p1 - p4. They were mostly hand engraved and finely checkered using better grade black walnut stocks. Total production for ALL models was less than 1500! Of those, there were 56 Broadway trap shotguns, of which only 24 were P1 grade! This is on of those 24 very rare beautiful pieces. It is a P1-K design which features highly detailed receiver with gold inlay mallards. It is 1st year , 1977, production and is signed by master engraver Baerten, who was made head of the custom shop during 77' - 85'. Being offered in the original factory case. EXC + condition!
