War time production Enfield in 303 Brit. Asking 550 cash no trade. Reduced to 525 o.b.o. It’s a mixmeister. I believe the stock is Australian marked "SLAZ". I need to downsize to buy another gun :(

The "III*" is a slight variation of just the "III". I'm away from my stuff right now, but can look it up later what the possible variations were. It is milled for the magazine cut-off?

The stock has been relieved for a magazine cutoff but it looks like the receiver is not milled for the slot. Nice wood though, good match on the color.

When most rifles of that era had 5-round internal magazines, the Lee-Enfield had a 10-round detachable magazine. Quite advanced for it's time.

I'm not sure what to look for for the cut off. I was trying to show the pitting on the receiver. Stock has SLAZ marking and I believe it's an Australian?
