What model is it?
 
Looks a lot like a 64-3
 
That's what I was thinking but wanted to know for sure!
 
Why is it bronze colored?

It look like a 10-6 heavy barrel..
 
Shows what I know about SW revolvers, very little. :(
 
The dash 6 denotes the heavy barrel..
 
Not exactly, the heavy barrel was introduced on the 10-1 in 1959 the -6 engineering change happened in 1962 and it eliminated the trigger guard screw on the Heavy barrel models.

I was not trying to be a Smart Ass. I Just looked it up in the S&W Standard catalog. I didn't know that info off hand. I know your reply was sincere just wanted to clarify where I was coming from.
