Don't they still have the maximum 5 DC watt final input / 4.0 watt RF Output requirement?

Or is it that nobody cares anymore?

Maybe that was explained on the You-Tube, but I cannot reasonably watch them on this very slow connection here.

Yes, it also applies to hams. But since I only operate CW, my RF amplifiers do not have to be linear at all. More efficient, Class C RF amps (non-linear) work fine for CW.

I’ve seen quite a few of the videos that one included, he’s fun to watch. And yes they still illegal, Mmmmmmmm maybe it wasn’t such a great idea. Mods you can lock this.
