So I'm thinking the 1-8x24 Vortex Strike Eagle isn't gonna do what I want.
Looking to get a FFP 4-16 or 6-24.
Prefer a 30mm tube or bigger
Best quality for the dollar of course under 1k w/ tax

If you have access to GovX, they had that Viper G2 EBR 7 for $750 last week. Not sure if it is still that price as I do not have access.

Yikes I think my head is gonna explode from all the different options.
Definitely want a MOA instead of MRAD.
Thinking maybe something with a 34 or 35 mm tube.

Thinking US Optics TS 2.5-20x50 MOA

I did find a Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44 BDC in my storage stuff. Going to run that until I decide.

I'm still deciding.
Have been looking around checking out different ones at the LGS in the area.
I think my current "like this the best" is a Nikon FX1000 and a Nightforce SPV ( I think )

I have a Vortex PST EBR-2C (MOA) Reticle and love it, excellent scope. The reticle is great for shooting without doing any adjustments I can shoot any range or wind condition and by using the reticle marks make a visual adjustment for a second round hit.

I really need to go down and look thru some different reticles at Scheels. But I guess it's gonna have to wait until after the boogaloo

Hold off on the strike eagle the gen III crossfire came out with updated tech.
But if the strike eagle is your budget friendly go for it.

I have a Leopold AR mod MILs not MOA
And a vortex HST 4-24 MOA

If you get a high power trying looking for one with the horus reticle those are bad ass

I use the monstrum scopes a gen2 on one rifle and the gen3 on the 338 both scopes are the fp style no problems out to 2500 meters and the prices are very reasonable
