Default Las Vegas 9mm ammo?

So....I've been paying $13-18/box with a discount at American Shooters. I'm told Wal-Mart is much cheaper, but the Charleston/Decatur store told me that almost never have any.

Any hot tips?

Watch the board, because lots of times people post a heads up for ammo at the various walmarts in Vegas. I know when its in stock out here in Pahrump, I or someone else will post a heads up on it. Normally its Tophog calling to tell me to get my butt over to the Pahrump walmart because ammo is in lol..

Ya have to hunt walmarts at all locations during this time of "shortage" but its out there.

There is also the option of buying it online.. but that takes a while and you DO have to shop around to find deals. One place i have had good luck with in the past is www.ammoman.com

Ahh how I miss the day of 12.00 boxes of 100 round Winchester White Box 9mm and 4 dollar a box .223 on every walmart shelf I walked into

Also this is why I tell people when its in.. BUY It.. keep an extra stash of cash on the side so that when you see it you can jump on it

Cabela's website has it in stock and if you order more than $150 you get free shipping.

Geo, the ammoman prices for fmj aren't horribly different than what I've been paying without having to buy 500 rounds. (is that a brick??)

I joined AS and get a 15% discount, which is helping some. But I keep hearing rumors of $10/box at Wal-Mart....which would be nice, if I ever actually saw any!

The last bit of 9mm ammo I got at walmart last week was the 250 round bulk pack for 50 bucks. They are the UMC Yellow box bulk pack. You just have to hunt around to find it

Most of the time walmart gets ammo early in the AM, so if you hit the stores at around 8 AM you might get lucky.

Saw some Federal at $9 a box at Walmart not too long ago. Since I have a ton, I left it for those more desperate for it (I have enough for now). The ammo situation is getting better. I guess just pay the premium you are now (but buy small quantities) and keep checking Walmart. When Walmart has it buy their limit!

I have never had a walmart employee adhere to the posted ammo limit. I always get what my wallet will allow
