Exclamation Where to shoot in Las Vegas?

I live by Charleston and Nellis and I've been going to American Shooters on the west side of town. So far and I hate indoor ranges.

I want to go to an outdoor range that's close to my house and the only outdoor range I know of is the Clark County Shooting Park and that's all the way up North, I think beyond city limits.

From where you live finding a legal place in the desert is a drive also. Here is a BLM link. http://www.blm.gov/nv/st/en/fo/lvfo/...oting_and.html Map links at the top of the page.

I drive 40 minutes north (I live about three miles from you) to shoot in the desert. (Most of the guys on the forum shoot either on the south valley towards Jean, Boulder City or the far west valley, we are closer to North East end, so that's the way I go)

I have the equipment and targets to set up my own shooting range to practice and can draw from concealed, move and fire and do basic combat drills without worrying about range Nazis (I am also an NRA range safety officer and normally go with another RSO or an instructor.)

Very few ranges in town will allow you free range to train properly. So I do it myself.

If you'd like to go with us next time, send me your email and I will keep you in the loop.

Once I've shown you the spot, you are welcome to use it as much as you like.

I guess I don't live far from you. I live near Bonanza and Sloan. I also shoot north of town. I'll have to meet up with you sometime.
