I wish Walther would hurry the hell up and produce and optic-ready PPQ M2 (yes, I'm aware of Q5).

Yeah that would definitely be nice. Most companies seem to be going after the new Carry Optics division of USPSA before the concealed carry market. It's already expensive to buy the gun and optic let alone send it off for 2 months and spend another $150-$250 to get the slide milled and co-witness sights.

I'm not in favor of eliminating a rear sight. Electronics can fail.

You can put a dovetail in front of the red dot, which many do. You can also mill just a little less deep and keep your rear sight. You can put a line and taller front sight for a lollipop sight.

I don't believe Walther will ever offer a red dot option for the 4".

I am doing a Walther mill for a Delta Point today. A little different because the front is curved.
