Amen brother. Most of the best guns in this world are the simplest designs.

Lyon County Bill...Hopefully you got your replacement rsa by now...but...your "fell apart" one will go back together. As you're placing the parts back together, just think in terms of "stabilize" & "muscle" and you'll get it.
I recently bought a replacement rsa for my Taurus and it came in pieces which is normal. Took a little finess on my part.
Or you could try these folks:

I have not received the replacement part as of yet. I did purchase the s/s part from Amazon. I figure when the replacement shows up I'll have a spare.

I'm missing the front button on the assembly. It went flying I suppose and have not been able to find it.

Finally received the part from S&W. Compared to the s/steel one I bought it's pretty cheap looking.

Damn, that took forever. What if that was your only carry gun? I would run the SS one if you don't have any issues with it.

If you don't want to wait, you can buy a replacement. https://www.amazon.com/Wesson-Stainl.../dp/B019EVHQT8

I agree! Most of the duty sized handguns have aftermarket SS ones. It's always good to have other options.
