Good grief.

No wonder we have to tax like California. There is absolutely no differentiation between emergency needs and padding hours to pay for those extra RVs and ATVs in the garage.
There may be a component of cost/benefit analysis here. What do we stand to learn from these autopsies? That most/all of them died from gunshot wounds, possibly some died from trauma related to being trampled when everyone started running? Ok.. We'll also know the caliber of the round(s) in many/most cases.. Ok, so, what difference will it make if we know this today, tomorrow or next week?

Now, Paddock's autopsy is certainly of more interest with respect to the investigation.. where exactly he was shot/angle/etc., approximate time of death, various things.. but again, what difference does it make if we find this out today, tomorrow or next week?

I'm not advocating for them to take their sweet time either, but I'm guessing that if you took a public vote, and asked the common public whether or not they want to spend their own tax dollars to get this info sooner, I bet you'd be surprised by the response. Unless you can provide a compelling, specific reason beyond just "transparency", I bet most people would say no. I know I would.

Try to justify it in anyway you want. However at the end of the day you're advocating overtime for the government services you demand to have more quickly while all along actively fighting to remove overtime and government excess in all other services you deem superficial or surplus. This is hypocrisy at its finest and in reality makes you more like the big government advocates than you want to admit.

The autopsies of the deceased will likely tell us nothing that we don't already know. Given the absolute mass of people and mob reaction I'd be impressed if any trajectory information can be reliably gathered from entrance and exits. There is practically no evidence to support a second shooter. Even if multiple calibers are found MB32 had access to multiple calibers so no conclusions would be able to be drawn from that.

So you want additional funds to be spent keeping OMI burning the candle at both ends to, in all likelihood, tell us what we already know. Sure that makes sense. Wouldn't dare spend that money on officers to possible prevent crime or apprehend a suspect that isn't dead. Maybe spend that money on some textbooks for students, additional teachers, better access to psych care for the uninsured or homeless, or any other of those feel good social programs that the majority of republicans want to cut funding too.

Like I said, pot, kettle; kettle, pot.

Uh, give some examples of that and it might be worth looking into.

We can have this discussion elsewhere. Bring your computer. There will be spreadsheets and a test afterwards.

Now you're talking. Lets do it! And while we are at it lets fund public defenders with matching funds as prosecutors. Now we are making progress.

Like I always said. Fight like cats and dogs where we disagree, work like heck together where we agree.

There is complete silence. If nothing to tell us, tell us that, tell us when there will be a news presser. You don't need cameras ,tv set up, etc. Every other mass murder event, we did not have days of zero info.
Is there a picture of said door w/ 200 holes? Is there a photo of said all 23 guns? Is the girl friend in jail or back home. A lot of simple questions not answered. I think we had photos of most other mass shooting showing all the stuff to promote gun laws, seems only mis information on that from beginning, & no photos to back any of it. There is too much back & forth, attacking forum members on theory , when we really have no clue what actually occurred , especially Campos story. Maybe next month?

Looking at the 357 does anyone know what that cylindrical looking thing is that looks like it is lying on top of the gun between the cylinder and the trigger?
