Default I finally found a Ruger Mark IV Hunter 40160.

I found the Ruger Mark IV Hunter the one with the finger grips at Sportsman's Warehouse in Carson City. The NV computers were down and have been for a day and it is going on day two. So the can not do a background check. Another reason to hurry up and get my CCW license.

The Hunter Model 40160 fits my hand like a glove and really feels good in the hand. I have a Kimber Warrior that I put Hogue grips on and that is why I opted for the 40160. Maybe the regular Hunter would be little better fit since I don't have huge hands.

I just found that my Ruger Mark IV Hunter 40160 is on the Mark IV recall list. The recall list is for all Mark IV. I called Ruger Firearms and gave them my serial number and mine was on the list. They will send me a box with prepaid shipping and instructions how to remove the affected part. It will be about a two day process to get a replacement and you get a free magazine returned with it.

Good Luck with that, I guess even Ruger guns aren't perfect these days.

Wouldn't that be great a standard slim barrel mark-IV,I don't think the current 3 or 4 pounds of barrel is necessary .
I'd buy one for sure!
