Default GoPro Mounting Options

Anyone have experience using a GoPro on a rifle? How did you mount it? I'm thinking of ordering a picatinny mount from Amazon. Anyone here have one they like, or don't?

I've been kicking around the idea of a GoPro mount as well. I have the small "sessions" camera which I think would be minimally distracting on a rifle.

Honestly, if you're just going for cool footage, you don't need a mount. I've been filming a lot lately, and I've using electrical tape around my rail to hold it in place lmao. Kinda wanna pick something up legit for the handguns though.

I took a picatinny riser I found at Bass Pro for less than $10, then mounted one of the extra go pro bases to it. I secured that with a short screw and that worked more than fine. Just have to remember to tighten everything well on the Go Pro part so the camera doesn't shift under recoil. It served its purpose, at the time no one was making specific gopro rifle mounts like they have been the last couple years.

I use a ball mount. It doesn't hurt as much as you would think.
