What does that have to do with needing a Utah permit to carry in Utah?

Who knows, I'm not sure if thats just to get a Utah permit or if Utah will require you to carry both the NV and UT permit if you are from Nevada and carrying in their state.

You can carry in Utah with a Nevada permit alone. They recognize every state's permit.

If you otherwise want a Utah permit and you live in a state that recognizes Utah's permit, then you need a copy of your own state's permit to obtain a Utah permit. The reason they have this requirement is so that people don't skip their own state's permit and get Utah's to carry in their own state and circumvent their own state's training requirements. I assume that this is a policy they enacted in order to get more states to accept their permit.

I moved here from Utah a few years ago. I've had Utah's permit for years. When I went to renew it in August, I had to provide a copy of my Nevada permit due to the fact that Nevada started recognizing Utah in July.

I got pulled over in Utah while carrying. I gave my ID and ccw to the officer, he asked where it was I told him 3 o'clock. He let me off with a warning 😏

Here is my timeframe.

Submitted on October 21st 2016
Arrived Feb 3 2017
Total days - 118

Not bad because I expected the holidays to delay allot further..

Ok now I have a question about Utah- What is the process? Do any of you have an outline on the steps needed to get Utah's CCW? What about Florida?
