Not in summerlin but my son and I were fishing today. I think we pulled the same bass out 6 or 7 times.

I got him first.

Then my son got him maybe two hours later when I brought him back to the pond. I knew the fish were biting and wanted to make sure he had some success.

In total he pulled a fish out maybe 8 or 9 times over an hour or so. He had a blast. Mainly small stuff although I pulled out two bass that were maybe a lb or so.

Aw...good for him! It's always fun taking the kids fishing and seeing the excitement when they catch a fish. My one son is 13 years old and whenever he catches something you would think he just won the lottery.

Nice fish, by the way!!!

Anyone fish Lorenzi?? Looking myself for a father-daughter day close by.
Lorenzi has planter rainbow trout & catfish. Verrrrry easy to catch. I blew my daughter's mind a few years ago when she saw me reach in barehanded and grab a trout that was relaxing about a foot from the shoreline.

Why can't I ever catch a fish like that? If it weren't for one eyed carp fish I wouldn't catch anything at all.

Also, sand hollow from the shore is excellent in about another 2 months. Great bass fishing from the shore! Little bit of a drive but well worth it. Boulder City Pond is usually good for planter trout.

When you say above lake Las Vegas where do you mean?
