Default Our of state renewal

I just realized that my NV ccw expires next year. Holy crap time flies! i had it renewed in 3/2013 and issued late may 2013.

I haven't lived in NV in over 4 years, so if I wanted to renew, would i have to mozy on back there and take a class?

Yes, you must take the renewal class in NV and file the forms and be photographed and fingerprinted in person.

Does Nevada honor your state? (Obvious, but just asking)

Or see if you can get a nonresident state nv honors?

Yeah, it honors TX... for now but we all know how this crap changes depending on what side of the bed these idiot politicians wake up on.

I'd prefer NOT having to go there and repeat that dog and pony show again this coming spring.

yeah. i hear ya. until any national reciprocity thing happens, playing the "honor" game is about all we have.

i am a native of a east coast state, and they do not honor nv and they do not issue to non resident. they do honor ut and fl.

mine expires next summer, so i am thinking utah. it'll cover me when back home.

I have UTAH and it's very easy to renew and all. I did it all through the mail when I got my TX LTC.

national reciprocity is a double edged sword. a lot of my family still live in that God forsaken state of NY. National reciprocity of not, i'd like be behind bars the minute i cross the state line, even with 7 rounds and all that other BS. It's gunna be nothing but a problem IMO.

The growing list of communist oblasts in this nation will not sit quietly with it.

But i am not losing sleep over it at night. The GOP is their worst enemy right now.

I have the AZ permit. A four hour class, double prints, and $75. Turn around was a blazing 30 days in my case.

To add AZ will issue a permit to anyone who has a permit from another state. All you need to do is send them a copy of your permit and the fee.

As far as NV goes yes you must take the class, shoot, and apply in person. Since you're a non-resident you can apply at any sheriff office, not just metro. So you can dive out to pahrump and at least get your permit faster.
