Default Remington R51

Anybody own one? Some really good prices on this, but after the initial production fail, I'm a bit nervous.

The recent price reduction caught my eye as well. But I've got too many guns to bringing home another!
Would love to see a report on this.

I noticed too that the pistol is now at clearance prices. FWIW, Remington is near default and may not be long for this world. Perhaps a Remington pistol may be bought for collecting or curiosity, but it is soon to be an orphan with no after-market support. You pay your money, you take your chances.

don't own one, but fondled one in sportsmans not too long ago. I can honestly say that it had the worst trigger of any hand gun ive ever picked up

I have one ordered to come in this week. As soon as I shoot it, I'll post here.

Love the looks. Slim, rounded and can be carried in the pocket or elsewhere very easily. Has some weight to it, which helps shooting. Nice trigger. Accurate. No malfunctions.

The manual of arms sucks compared to my Walther PPQ M1, but of course all other guns do to. I need to fire it more to see if I will rotate it into my EDC.

Wife likes it so it may become a purse gun. Just the right size and shape for that.

Thanks for the report. It kind of looks like the new Taurus Spectrum.
