So if I got this straight...... there are NO difference in application fees as stated? The difference is simply that TGS store not offer the class for a Utah permit? I think that was my basic question and then a couple of you ran off in another direction with false information and made the whole thread confusing.

In simple terms I think it is fair to say that altough TGS may not offer the BEST class, it is the cheapest way to get your Nevada and Florida permit and they no longer support the Utah license.

The "Undertaker" is very succinct.

If a FL permit is what you need, yes.

I thought it was useful to point out that a FL permit is $61 more than a UT permit.

Also, remember that for a FL permit, your military discharge papers, or your hunter safety class, or any NRA class, or any of these other ways qualifies. Many of you don't need any kind of extra class to get a FL permit. Many of you could be applying for the FL permit before you even get around to taking your NV class.

Cool. I didn't get my Florida, just my Navada and Utah. It sucks TGS doesn't offer Utah anymore but the price for the two they do offer cant be beat.

Of course if the National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2012 gets through we won't have to worry about permits from other states. We could even carry in Kalifornia with the right size mags.

And you know what the funny thing about this would be if it were to happen? We could carry in kali with our NV CFP,but kali residents who live in counties where the sheriff doesn't issue to mere mortals still couldn't carry! It would be cool if I could carry when I go visit my mom without risking becoming some dude's wife at Folsom!
