For an inexpensive 1911, my RIAs all shoot well.

Fitting of parts is very good, the two-dot rear and fiber optic front sights are excellent. The magazine catch springs are rough, but they only cost a couple of bucks to replace.

I've been a big fan of Armscor pistols in general for years, and have owned several RIAs. I'm down to one Rock, currently, a vanilla full size GI that I've been blasting with for about 10 years. For a "cheap" pistol, it has been incredible -- every bit as reliable, accurate, and fun to shoot as my Colts or Springfields.

I've been a 1911 fan for many years and love my RIA Commander Special Edition. My first 1911 was a RIA compact many years ago.
