Ever try HomeTown Cafe (not related to Hometown Buffet) on Lemmon in Lemmon Valley?

About a mile east of 395.

Ok. I've had that pork belly benedict, too. It is amazing; the only thing that would make it better is a bloody mary.

in Henderson:
Sunset pizza on Horizon Ridge; wonder if it is the same owner as Water St.

The Great Greek on Marks St (by Sears).

The last good steak i've eaten was at the Brand in the Monte Carlo. You're not walking out of there without your wallet crying but it was a very good steak. Binions Steak house is another good one.

For Sushi the wife and I like to goto Kazuki Sushi in the Southern Highlands Smith's shopping center. It's nothing special but it's all you can eat and they remember when I walk in the door even if it's been a few months. They also remember that i'm allergic to Avocado. Other places I have been I can explain to them tell i'm blue in the face and they still put it on my roll.

The Cracker Barrel for comfort food is a favorite. Can't hardly get in though due to the long lines.

Steak & Shake is a favorite. I grew up with them back in the midwest so it's also comfort food for me. Maybe not the best burger but it's sort of a slice of home.

Ping Pong Thai near the Sunset park has decent food. Again there are better but their prices are good and service is as well.

Hofbrauhaus is a favorite of mine. The wife doesn't care for it but I love it. Been to the original in Munich while I was in the Army. Weekends it can be fun when they have a band going and getting the crowd involved. The Dunkle Weizen Bier by the litre is my favorite.

In Reno, not sure if they are still around but the best breakfast is at PJs off of Wells.
Another i'm not sure if they are open is Portofinos across from the Peppermill. Great Italian food. Sushi club was my preferred sushi bar. Ate there at least twice a week.

For fine Italian dining Mastrionis on Hualapai and DI can't be beat.

Sushi, Yummy Sushi on Lake Mead and 95ish is great. Their blue fin shashimi is to die for.

Monta Ramen or Manta Chaya kills it on the ramen game.

Pho Kim Long is my wife's favorite Asian joint in town. Great place that cooks many styles.

Up by me in Centennial, Divine Cafe serves great breakfast. They make a pork and cabbage Benedict and it's fantastic.

Two of my favorites listed already is Carlito's Burritos on Sunset and The Road Kill Grill at the Clark County Shooting Park. I do Carlito's when I'm in the Green Valley area.(on Sunset behind Joe's Crab Shack) There pork verde smothered burrito in the greatest. I do the Road kill when I do the shooting park, Best pulled pork sandwich and BBQ beans.
Both places you won't be hungry after partaking for a week!
