I think I may have found the one ...does THIS one

http://www.sinclairintl.com/shooting...75-127531.aspx

look familiar to anyone? If my memory serves me right, this may be the one someone had at the range that day.....simple, and effective with no extra "doodahs".....has the nice non-slip area and that is pretty much what I want!

Results from Saturday's match are up!

We had a bunch of newer folks, a couple of Juniors, and a lot of fun. It was blazing hot, I think you guys can see why I've said a range cover there would be nice.

37 shooters makes for a longer match, but we were able to make it work and got out of there at a reasonable time. Thanks everyone who helped set up and put away - that really eases the workload on me.

See everyone next match!

Good day shooting, lots of new shooters out. Excellent weather, could not have been nicer. I loaned out a couple of rifles, including one to a guest from Indiana! Congrats Rich on a great score, and thanks for coming out to play on your vacation, hopefully northern Nevada's rifle club will become legendary back in your neck of the woods ;-)

Also, big congrats to Don J, who finally broke the glass ceiling! We knew it was possible!

FYI everyone, Jim K. was there taking photos and posted them up for club use. Flip through them, you might accidentally find a good one of yourself and your rig! Be sure to thank Jim when you see him, and if you use the photos anywhere else keep the copyright on there and give him credit!

WOW...thanks for the great pictures, Jim...Lots of them!! Yep, the weather was good and the wind wasn't too squirrelly, which did allow me to finally shoot my way into Master class in spite of getting the stupids once and shooting at (AND HITTING) the wrong target. At least I DID remember to reset my scope dope for every shot this time!! Still have a patience problem, though....I think only once this match for a change....just sort of ran out of my natural cycle and didn't start over when I should have...yanked the trigger just to get it over with. Might as well have just closed my eyes and squeezed it off!! But, HEY!!, gimme a break........at least I DID hit the mountain!!

Jeffery LaCombe...a newer (to this match, anyway) shooter was on my squad, and who I'm betting he has been to this rodeo a time or two before shot a great round of 25!! I think we are going to have to watch out for this guy!! GOOD JOB, Jeffery!!! Pretty hard to ignore that 28 by David Hills in the Marksman class, too!! THAT GUY is gonna be moving up, I can see!!

Scotty---thanks for putting on a great match...ENJOYABLE AND FUN, as always!!

Thank you to Jim Kovacs aka Nevada-Smith for the excellent photos, and to Scotty for coordinating the event.

Yeah.....I was pretty comfy shooting Coyotes at 650 as an Expert....gotta do some 850 zeroing and practice now, I guess. Will probably never shoot another Master score in my life now!!! So, what's it take to be re-classed back to Expert....like three scores in a row of 11, 6 and 14??? Or something like that??
