2016 Varmint Silhouette matches - Page 6

OK, I did up the scores from October when Tony & Co. ran it. Here they are. Apparently you guys shoot better when I'm not there.

Tomorrow is the last match of the season, and also the last one I will run for a while. It's been a great 8 years, but it's time to hang it up and get back to shooting.

46 shooters, a crazy end to a long season! Also a very smooth match, thanks to Chuck, Dan, Todd, Big Dave, the Mayfields, and the rest who pitched in from early morning until the end.

It's been a pleasure developing this match course-of-fire over the last few years and seeing it succeed in both education and entertainment directions. Thank you Dave Rpberts, Mike Schreier, and the late Joe Melcher for giving me a free hand to transform Nevada Wise's old match into something new and challenging. I'm handing it off to Tony, Chuck, Tom, and Dan to take it forward from here.

You folks who are relatively new, think about volunteering to help out and make the club better and more fun for everyone.

Thanks for starting and running this match Scotty.
And thanks Tony Chuck Tom and Dan for stepping up to continue running it...also a big thanks to everyone that shows up early and or stays late to help with set up and tear down.

Hi Guys,

Is there a calendar for 2017 Varmint and Tac matches? I got a Seekins Precision 6.5 and need to stretch its legs. I'm assuming March start. but the
PVGC site is down.

Hi Lee, the website is being re-built at the moment, but I think Dave's posted the new schedule in another thread.

Scotty are you pulling out of town or are you just turning the reins over to someone else.

After getting my knees replaced in March and April there was just enough happening so I couldn't attend last year.

I plan on being there this year.

Hey Doyle - yeah I missed ya there last season. Glad you are doing better - keep on that PT!

I am turning the match over to Tony, Chuck, Tom, Dan, and the rest. I plan on coming to some, but not all, this next year. I'm not heading out of town just yet, but it is a possibility.
