She actually used some advanced negotiation techniques to defuse the guy. She sounds more like a trained police officer than a Big 5 employee. Maybe time for a career change?

I'm glad she was able to do that without being hurt, but I see this turning out to be ammunition for the anti's. "Just talk the bad guy down, no need to be armed."
