Any of you guys FCSA members, if not I recommend it. I am a moderator on the Members only forum and it nice to be able to ask some world class shooters there secrets. There should be a 1000yd match coming up in Reno soon, I have only been able to make it a couple of time but I want to try to get up there again this year. There is usually a match in April and one in August.

Come on out I can think of a few places. Maybe I can get my Uncle to drag out the 416, that he has had for 3 years and never shot!

you will have to shame him into taking it outta the closet, blowing the dust off it, and put that first round through it

I forgot to mention that I did clean and resize the spotter/ tracer projectiles. I put the projectiles in a vibrator/ tumbler to clean the sealant off of them but it didn't work worth a ****, they are so heavy they just sat on the bottom. instead I used steel wool to take it off. Also I then had to pick all the media out of the hollow point on all of them. So once the 50 of these that I have are gone, they won't be replaced. Now I'm trying to figure out the picture posting.

before loading anything i have read lots of forums and some had read that the spotter/tracers werent supposed to be loaded up to the same pressures as regular ball, ap and api rounds because it could set off the spotter section of the projectile in the barrel. so i ended up loading them at 180g, 185g, and 190g of wc860. i used my misc. head stamp unfired military brass. i loaded 3 of each with 5 extra 190s for my dad to shoot. got 1.6in group with the 180s @100yds, 1.8in with the 190s @100yds, and i had 3.25in@200yds with the 185s. i wanted to make sure they would hit paper at 100 before i went out further because i was zeroed at 500yds with ball ammo. one of the185s burst the case in the chamber but the light shows were pretty cool.
