For the first time in years I took a walk on the Strip last month. I was dumbfounded at the number of homeless that have taken up residence. They were sprawled everywhere.

Or the one that need gas to get home to California to see there sick aunt or "insert sad story here", they always seem to have their pregnant wife sitting in the car too.
I was walking into a Carls on Darango by the skateboard park on Spring mt. in Vegas when a teenager caring a $200 skateboard and wearing $150 shoes asks me for a buck, I told him to go home and ask his mommy.
Always look at there shoes, if they are nicer then yours tellm to SHOVE OFF!

ya gotta admit, metro, and all concerned, understands economics.

what's gonna work out better, meaning generate more revenue, for .gov?

write a ticket to a homeless person for playing in the traffic?

write a ticket for someone doing 45 in a 35?

the homeless dude ain't got nuttin so he can't pay nuttin.

me, you, were gonna complain and pay the ticket.

Renoís female mayor Hillary Schieve has decided that strips bars are bad, but casino gambling, street walkers,,, errr I mean Escorts and weed are OK in the city limits. Reno has a big problem with homeless people and pan handlers as well.

The strip bar owners are fighting her. She is termed out but I understand she wants to get into state politics.

I moved to Washoe county above Sparks so I donít have to deal with city problems as much.

Funny as gun owners, we want our rights protected. But when something bothers us, beggars, we want them stopped ----- Let them panhandle, just ignore them and move on

Its not the panhandlers so much as it is the people that give to them that need to be slapped! If they couldnt get what they want they wouldnt hang around bothering people.

Why should they make an effort to help themselves if people just hand them what they need to survive...

I'm sick of seeing the "homeless" at every stop light begging for money; most of them are gypsies. The people that look to be really in need of help, especially when it's hot, I give them a bag with some water, Gatorade or juice and a sandwich and some fruit or snacks. The people that really need the help take it gratefully. The ones that refuse and ask for money? They're scammers.

I must have a look about me. They usually avoid me like I'm on fire.
