So guys, how is that Adaptive Combat Rifle working out for you? You know, the one that shoots 556 AND 6.8. Oh, the 6.8 is still not released. Every time you call it's "in two weeks". Anybody up for a class action lawsuit to either get what they promised or your money back???????

Well, it's been over 2 years. I told my son not to get it till all of the components were available. Now they are saying it may not happen as there is an engineering problem.

Then change the name to the "not so adaptive combat rifle," drop the price $1000 then I'll go buy one.
Well, I have the airsoft version, does that count? Lol |

Did you see me say that the rifle malfunctioned or did not work? I am talking about the 6.8 conversion that has been promised and has not been delivered. Do you have your 6.8 conversion. I am tired of companies that sell you something and then renig on the deal.

AFAIK...
At the 2012 SHOT Show they showed off the 1/7" twist 5.56x45mm Bushmaster ACR barrels ($400-500 depending on barrel length), which they said would be avilable last year. After the Bushmaster ACR recall, Bushmaser did temporarily shut down production of the ACR so that they could move from one facility to another. The shut down in production did delay the development of parts/accessories by Bushmaster. They are just now returning to where they were at before the shut down. So, it may be another 2-3 years before Bushmaster releases the 6.8x43mm ACR barrel assemblies. Interesting side notes: The Remington ACR has incorporated several changes due to the US Army's Individual Carbine Competition. These changes are not being incorporated into the Bushmaster ACR. No instructors (current and former) from Magpul Dynamics use the Bushmaster ACR. When they are not using direct-impingement ARs, they use FN SCARs. Not a very good product endorsement for the Bushmaser ACR, since they designed the Masada (which became the ACR, when Remington/Bushmaster bought it).

2-3 more years is unacceptable. When the weapon was purchased it was 2-3 months. That was over a year ago. Time to call a lawyer.
