I went Krebs rail with aimpoint 9000sc attached to LaRue 30mm low mount lever detach rings. This set up keeps the optics low and I can switch to conventional scope with the flick of the thumb. The addition of the adjustable rear peep sight gives a much improved sight radius as well as retaining the ability to field strip the rifle as normal, including the gas tube.

Cheek weld is optimal which is important to me. A feature sacrificed with nearly all AK scope mount options.

I'd like to get some user feedback on the PA Microdot too. They always seem to be on backorder, so it must be a decent scope for the price.
