Default My RD AK74 & sbr AMD 47 review-

Just got back my babies.

1. Asenal 105R in 4.45x39. I loved it before RD & I shoot this more than any other rifle I have. But having M.S. for 14 years, I am always looking for something to make my shooting experience better.

That's the inspiration for having them convert my charging handle to the left side, which was done flawlessly. It's much easier for me to operate the bolt now, & I feel its smoother now too.

2. FEG AMD2000 new. It was 'stiff. From charging, working the safety, to the messed up design of the stock (no cheek weld). But it had potential.

After RD it is the nicest AK shooter I ever shot. Not only is it shorter, but lighter, smoother, & recoils less. I was hitting steel at 250 yards from the shoulder with iron's.

Even the clear Bugly mags that didn't fit/work in my WASR/Arsenal/Bulgy/Mak90, are just the 'Shizenits' in the AMD.

I shot both yesterday, for the third time.

The ak was awesome! Light recoil & accurate. I must say, the Ceracote cleans up well. I spray with Ballistol & the dirt/carbon just falls off. Nothing sticks!

The 300, I tried 220g Remmy Express Subsonic w/o a suppressor. No bueno! It didn't eject, I had to manually rack it.
I tried a cut buffer spring (minus 5 coils) it worked 75% of the time. But 25% of the time, it would extract the round & not have the force to strip the new round from the mag.

I am tempted to cut more coils & see what it would do,... But I'm worried to do damage.
I'm likely to wait for a surpprssor to do it right.
