That is a collapsable Socom from Ace, the smaler of the 2. Anyways, lately I use a Colt lower SBR'd too.

I finally got it working.
I ran 30 rounds through it today. That was the last of my ammo, but I'm waiting for more ammo.

250 rounds of ammo ($22x50rds). Not mention 6 trips to the range, a cordless Dremmel, & patience. Little by little I make some progress and learn a thing or two.

The effort required:
-EA magazine springs + 20%
-5.7oz AR57 supplied f/a buffer
-polish & throat-ing the bbl mouth
-Cutting the buffer spring 4 coils (I know)

But all said & done, it's a sweet shooter!

I just finished a Front Sight 2 day Def. Course.

Day 1, fired 120rds w/o a hitch.
Day 2, I fired 130rds & had problems w more of the same, plus extremely light primer strikes about 3.

The good news, I managed a 3 shot group @ 50y in .5" (This was not the/my norm).

Set the zero @ 50y, was ~3"s low @ 200y, mind you this was from a 12" bbl, I expected worse!
