obviously you've never owned or shot one . . . one of the rare Taurus good ones.

Never owned, but I have shot a hand full. Like I said before, not every Taurus is bad, but it seems like a crap shoot as to which one will work or not. And because it is such a crap shoot, I don't see myself owning one.

And just because I don't like Taurus guns myself, doesn't mean you should get pissy about it. I don't care if you don't lime Glocks. If they don't work for you, cool. I am not offended by your choice in firearms, nor should you be about mine.

l actually missread your first post, l do owe you a apology

the PT745 is their best compact due to the single stack and not having the issues the PT145 did with cracking the frame, mine was my first "carry" for almost two years, before l switched it for a Detonics Combat Master, the best compact .45 ACP 1911 style ever made, now I have a Sig 1911 that's twice as big and 12 oz lighter . . . go figure
