Thinking of a Move to Las Vegas
Hello All, Right now I'm primarily interested in long range rifle shooting. Are there ranges and competitions at 600 & 1000 yards in the Las Vegas vicinity? Thanx.

Yes, there are a number of ranges with good distance. Google shooting ranges Las Vegas.

This is the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club in Boulder City. They have 600, 800, 900, and 1000-yard ranges that are used in regularly scheduled competitions and practice matches. You are allowed to shoot anything you want in practice, not just a specific type rifle. $125 membership for the first year, I think. $75 thereafter. New memberships will close for the year, probably pretty soon, so don't wait until summer to decide to join. I occasionally shoot the High Power practice matches. This is at 200, 300, and 600 yards. These are done more often than the longer range matches. Welcome!
