Get it scanned for transmission codes. That’ll tell you. And no, Autozone, Oreillys, etc can’t do it with their “free scan”. Transmission codes will not trip the CEL. Only a proper scanner will get them. At that mileage and overfilled, probably time for a rebuild though.

Its crazy the number of times I’ve seen half-assed repairs. Sure some were done by Joe Blow Repairs & Fish N Chips but also have seen it come from ALL the big name places too. Most people don’t even realize it happened til its too late.
